Stone Columns - are easy with our modular column blocks!

Modular stone componentsStone columns are impressive. We use their feel of permanence to enhance our grand entranceways, our driveway entrances and outdoor living areas. Often these columns of stone are tall and elegant. Towering above us as we walk past. The stone may be a dark igneous basalt spewn from the earth hundreds of centuries earlier, or one of our popular schists with colourful mica and feldspar. And the mystery of how it is tamed and tightly formatted in to a square pillar, yet still natural and irregular, heavily textured and wild.

Below you will see how we create these wonderful stone columns employing modern modular building techniques.

[Right] Example of our Basalt Schist Column block (L 450mm, W 450mm, H 300mm). Immediately underneath is an image of two mail box units stacked one on top of the other.

Most columns are successfully installed by using a combination of Column Blocks, Mail Blocks, and cappings.

Below is an installation video. A trades person can install these on a footing with 'rio' starters. Or Do it yourself by following this instructional video
